The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support the clinical team in delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care to patients. You will play a key role in ensuring patients feel comfortable, supported, and well cared for throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians with patient care and clinical procedures
- Prepare clinical rooms and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use
- Monitor and record patient observations accurately
- Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with clinic policies
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control are upheld
- Support with stock control and ordering of clinical supplies
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Clinical Support Worker
- Experience within a private healthcare or medical setting is desirable
- Relevant healthcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care) is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, caring, and empathetic manner
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
